Goat Cheese and Blueberries

Goat Cheese and Blueberries

Let me start by saying there is chocolate. Why didn’t I title chocolate? Because I wanted you to make a healthy choice, not a chocolate choice. Blueberries, Chocolate, and Goat Cheese is easy to make and full of protein and fiber, sneak in nuts and seeds to gain extra nutrients your body needs. If you have never tried Goat Cheese it has a nutty flavor that is nearly identical to Plain Greek Yogurt, but much thicker in texture. At nearly 5 dollars for 4 ounces of Goat Cheese, Greek Yogurt is a much more frugal option with more protein. Make this healthy snack in a small Mason Jar for an easy to pack on the go snack.

Clean Healthy Eating

1 Cup Blueberries
1 Ounce Goat Cheese
20 grams Dark Chocolate
2 Tbsp. Sunflower Seeds
1/4 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
1/2 Tbsp. Honey

Replace Sunflower Seeds with Hemp Seeds for less calories and extra protein and nutrients. Hemp Seeds are a delicious super food packed with an amazing amazing amount of good fats. The current price of Hemp Seeds is what makes Sunflower Seeds so desirable for this snack. Also removing Dark Chocolate and the Sunflower Seeds will bring down the calories significantly. I used a 72% Dark Chocolate which I found to be a bit too sweet, it would be safe to use a 90% Cocoa. The sugar from the Blueberries and Honey  are sufficient for any sugar craving. Enjoy eating the Quick Healthy Snack without feeling guilty about the natural sugars! At only 300 good calories this snack doesn’t take working hard at the gym to burn away, mix and match different clean ingredients to match your tastes and even cut the calories.
